Mawson’s Pavilion to the end of the colourful bridge (2km return)
Mawson’s Pavillion (the red shed) is the traditional starting point for Fred’s Walk The Bay for Parkinson’s. There is ample parking at the Pavillion, a good starting point for an easy access waterside stroll.
To ensure your walk doesn’t go longer than planned, turn around at the end of the first colourful bridge.
Alternatively, you can start at the colourful bridge and walk to Mawson’s Pavillion and back. There is parking available at the DEC car park if you’d like to do the walk in this direction.
This is the barbecue area just beyond the colourful bridges. If you’re planning on walking 2km turn around before you get to this point!
